<b>Title: </b>Disability Sports training for group volunteers <br><b>Description: </b>Disability Sport Northern Ireland facilitated an inclusive games training session in Taghnevan Youth and Community Centre in Lurgan on Wednesday 25th August for workers and volunteers dealing with older people and those with disabilities. The session was kindly funded by the SHSCT through their neighbourhood renewal/health and well-being programme. The session was well attended and we all learned new ways of including everyone in our physical activity sessions.

ADAPT NI SMALL GRANTS NOW OPEN

Building Equality and Inclusion Grants 2010/11 For the attention of all arts cultural, leisure & community organisations! Many organisations that strive to improve accessibility have reported they find it difficult to secure financial budgets and the practical advice needed to develop good practice in disability equality. The launch of this latest awards programme by ADAPT is a response to these requests for practical support in building equality and inclusion. ADAPT will distribute incentive grants of between £500 and £2000. For further details, please see ADAPTNI's website: www.adaptni.org
