Title: User Engagement
Description: On Friday 4th December Community Network Craigavon facilitated and hosted an engagement between older people from across the borough of Craigavon and representatives from the local social work team. This exercise was to assist older people appreciate how the Southern Health and Social Care Trust will develop its community services in the future to meet the needs and expectations of an ageing population. This new approach called “Living your life to the full” will build upon much of the existing work but also aims to give older people better access to information and support to help them lead healthier lives, as well as providing them with tailored help and advice in the future if they develop health and social care needs. CNC believes that it has an important role to play in strengthening the relationship between the Southern Health and Social Care Trust and the local community. CNC will continue to build the capacity of the local community to ensure that it has the knowledge, confidence and skills to engage effectively with policy makers.
